Shooting Weddings and Climbing

Last weekend was wedding weekend! First on Friday I had my MTC companion get married in the Logan Temple. It was wonderful to attend and remember those covenants. I ran into friends from the mission and our mission president and that was fun. Then Saturday a girl from my ward was married. Then Monday I drove down to Provo so I could be there for my old roommate's wedding on Tuesday morning in the Provo Temple.
That was the most amazing experience I've had at a wedding yet. It was so great to see these two wonderful people make it to the Temple and make sacred covenants there. It was a beautiful day for a wedding and I loved every minute of it. Between the Temple, luncheon and reception I went and explored parts of Provo that I have been wanting to see since I moved there. I walked around the historic court house and the library.
I ended up curling up with a book for most of the afternoon. It was great!
The next day I caught up with friends and went to the Provo Temple for a session.
In the afternoon we went rock climbing up Rock Canyon and had lots of fun. It was a great two day break from Logan and work. The Friday before I went shooting with my brother and his friend Mike. I haven't been shooting for a while so it was super fun even though I didn't do the best. Then a week later I got set up on a date and we went shooting as well. This time I did much better and the shooting part of the date was super fun. So that's the quick update. I need to get back into the habit of this blogging thing.
